The cuisine at The Albion deftly balances hearty classics with innovative dishes, enticing both locals and visitors alike. Start your culinary journey with enticing entrees such as the House baked focaccia topped with whipped cheese curd and olive soil, or indulge in the rich depth of the Chicken, pork & pistachio terrine served with house condiments and fennel cracker. The mains are a feast for the senses. The Pan fried gnocchi with roasted pumpkins, goat's curd, fried sage and hazelnuts is a vegetarian masterpiece that marries sweet, earthy, and nutty flavors with textural interest. Meat lovers will find the Braised lamb ragu over white polenta topped with gremolata irresistibly rich and comforting. Meanwhile, the Eggplant parmigiana featuring sugo, mozzarella, herb ricotta, chickpea crumb and fries is a plant-based option that doesn’t compromise on indulgence or taste. Creamy, aromatic, and exquisitely balanced, the Mushroom risotto drizzled with white truffle oil, kale, parmesan, and fried leeks beckons you to savor every silky spoonful.

The Albion’s atmosphere is just as captivating as its menu. Stepping inside, guests are greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. The thoughtfully curated lighting highlights cozy seating areas and stunning local artwork, creating an intimate yet lively space perfect for any occasion. What a find! From the second we walked in we had a warm greeting and were sat at the fireplace. Great local produce and drink offerings, well priced. Lovely setting. Huge thanks to Cal and Griffin for the great service. Was also a bonus to have a special menu by a Bar Midland chef. Will be back!

Another fabulous night at The Albion. The food just keeps getting better. I can see why they are becoming popular with locals and visitors like us who make sure we drop in every time we are there. Great venue, just getting better all the time.

Great warm vibe. Wine and cheese plate (local and French mix as it should be) was perfect. Looking forward to getting back and trying more of the delicious menu. The risotto looked amazing.

First timer at The Albion, and I loved it. The food was soooo delicious and presented beautifully. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome as though you are a local. The atmosphere is non pretentious, there are several rooms that divide the space, which is great for groups. There is also a beergarden, and I look forward returning in summer to enjoy a cold beer with newly made friends.

The Albion has fast become one of my favourite haunts. There’s a great selection of craft beers (I don’t drink wine but I’m reliably informed the wine selection is also top tier). Also, shout out to the chef as for what is essentially a country pub I found the meals as good as any I’ve tried in Melbourne. And finally, the service and the atmosphere really add to the overall Albion experience. A great time was had by all.

From drab to fab! I first visited the Albion pub a few years ago (owned by previous people not the current owners). It was dreary, sad and lacked any character. Fast forward to now, it is warming, bright, buzzing with love, light and feels homely and inviting. Ive been to an arts event, birthday dinner, wedding and a regular night here and absolutely love the welcoming environment that has been created by the current owners Marcus and Iam. Thank you for reviving the Albion and bringing it to life. Looking forward to spending many more hours at the Albion pub.

The first thing you notice stepping into tbe Albion Hotel in the evening is the lighting. It picks out the thoughtfully placed seats and tables and artwork. Now, here's a country pub that stays elaxed but gives a bit of a damn about style. The Albion's got a good range of craft beers, I had a tasty Okinawa Dark Larger, and doubtless a matching wine list. The generous menu invites exploration across meat and vegetarian dishes small and larger. I had the chargrilled chicken seasoned and cooked to perfection and served with blistered cherry tomatoes and some ratatouille. Wonderful service too. Me and my mates had a very satisfying evening. We'll be back.

Another awesome meal at The Albion. This great pub has become our goto when we want to treat ourselves to a special meal. There always seems to be something new and delicious on the menu. Today it was the crab risotto.
